Greetings from the Jungle Room! We are a Department of Education Universal Pre-K classroom set up around engaging learning areas that let kids get hands-on with our lesson plans. Our in-depth conversations and small group activities are kid-centered, strongly emphasize language growth and social-emotional skills, and encourage good relationships with the teachers and peers. In addition, children are offered autonomy-enhancing tools throughout the school year to help them advance their independence. Finally, students explore ten units of study through daily discussions, investigative or exploratory activities in each learning center, and family engagement activities at home.
We look forward to sharing our classroom with your family in the upcoming academic year.
